Explore the art of clay while transforming a handcrafted ceramic mug into a functional work of art. You'll learn decorative clay techniques, texture application, and creative embellishment methods as you design a mug that is uniquely your own. Whether you prefer whimsical, nature-inspired, modern, or rustic styles, you'll have the freedom to bring your vision to life.
Class Dates & Time:
July 7th & July 14th
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
During the first session, you'll learn basic hand-building techniques as you design and attach decorative elements such as flowers, mushrooms, butterflies, moons, leaves, textures, and more. No previous clay experience is required, making this the perfect introduction to working with clay.
After class, your mug will be professionally fired, glazed, and kiln-finished by Creative Lotus Shop. During the second session, you'll return to glaze your mug and bring your design to life with color.
Workshop Includes:
• Handcrafted ceramic mug
• Clay and all decorating materials
• Step-by-step instruction
• Professional kiln firings
• Glazing session
• Finished functional ceramic mug to take home
This workshop is designed as a small-group experience, allowing for personalized instruction and plenty of creative freedom.
