Custom Mid-Century Ceramic Cat Figurine

Inspired by the iconic atomic-era cat sculptures of the 1950s and 1960s, this handmade ceramic cat features a beautiful geometric silhouette with an angular face, sweeping body, and exaggerated curved tail.

Each cat is individually made and hand-glazed just for you. Choose your favorite colors, or have your piece customized with colors and markings inspired by your own cat—tuxedo, tabby, calico, tortoiseshell, orange, solid-colored, or any combination unique to your kitty.

Customized to Your Cat

Want your ceramic cat to resemble your own kitty? After purchase, you can send me a photo of your cat for inspiration. I’ll use their unique coat colors and markings as inspiration while hand-glazing your piece.

Because of the stylized, geometric design of the sculpture, your finished piece will be an artistic interpretation of your cat rather than an exact replica—making each one completely unique.

Choose Your Style

Memorial Cat
Your cat can be created hollow with a discreet insert, allowing a small portion of your pet’s ashes to be placed safely inside. This creates a meaningful memorial that looks like a beautiful piece of ceramic art rather than a traditional urn.

Solid Ceramic Cat
Prefer it simply as a sculpture? Your cat can remain solid with no memorial compartment. Perfect as a unique piece of home décor, a gift for a cat lover, or a custom figurine inspired by your own beloved kitty.

Size

Approximately 6” tall × 5.5” wide × 2” deep

Each piece is handmade and individually glazed, so slight variations in color, markings, and finish are natural and part of what makes your ceramic cat truly one of a kind. ♥

Monarch Butterfly Ceramic Keepsake Urn | Handmade Urn for Ashes

This one-of-a-kind ceramic urn features two monarch butterflies resting against a flowing landscape of soft blue, cream, and earthy neutral glazes. The layered colors move naturally across the surface, creating a peaceful, almost watercolor-like background while the warm orange and black butterflies bring a beautiful contrast to the piece.

Monarch butterflies are often associated with transformation, hope, remembrance, and enduring connection, making this vessel a meaningful way to honor someone deeply loved. Designed to feel like a piece of ceramic art rather than a traditional funeral urn, it can be displayed naturally in the home while quietly holding a treasured portion of cremated remains.

Each Creative Lotus Shop urn is individually made and finished by hand. Variations in glaze, color, texture, and surface are part of the ceramic process and make every memorial vessel truly one of a kind.

Size & Cremation Capacity

Approximately 5” wide × 3.5” deep × 3.5” tall
Holds approximately 10 fluid ounces (≈18 cubic inches)

This smaller memorial vessel is ideal as a keepsake urn, sharing urn, infant memorial urn, or cremation urn for a small pet.

A commonly used guideline for choosing an urn is approximately one cubic inch of capacity for each pound of body weight before cremation. With approximately 18 cubic inches of capacity, this urn can accommodate the full cremated remains of a person or pet weighing approximately 18 pounds or less before cremation.

For an adult or larger pet, it can be used as a keepsake urn for a portion of ashes, allowing family members to keep or share a meaningful amount of cremated remains.

A Handmade Memorial, Created as Art

Unlike a mass-produced cremation urn, this vessel was created individually by hand as both a functional memorial and a lasting piece of ceramic art.

Its organic glaze, sculptural form, and monarch butterfly imagery allow it to blend beautifully into a home alongside photographs, flowers, artwork, and other meaningful belongings. It provides a discreet and personal resting place for ashes without having the appearance of a traditional urn.

What’s Included

Every urn includes a small wooden keepsake box at no additional cost, providing another special place for a photograph, handwritten note, jewelry, pet tag, dried flowers, or another small remembrance.

Your ceramic urn and keepsake box will be carefully packaged to help protect them during shipment.

This urn features a natural blend of soft stone grays, warm earth browns, and gentle golden undertones that flow organically across the surface.
